Blog Hey, well. I decided to redo this blog thing. So I'll see if I can write here more often. 7/14/07 So,
since I didn't plan to write about anything in specific, I'll just talk
about something random. A few nights ago I was editing the site (It was
like 3 am) and my little brother was watching TV. He was watching ACM I
think, and there was this "Live Awards" performance with a girl
singing. I liked the song, the music and the voice. Then came the guitar
solo, which was okay. What I really liked was the way she sung at the end.
I really liked it so I saw her name at the end of the song, Taylor Swift.
A few days ago I searched for that video on youtube and I saw it from the beginning.
It was really good. I liked the way she sang and the way the band
played. I saw another live performance and it was great too. Then I
listened to some of her other songs. They're really good, and in my
opinion songs like "Cold as You" are relaxing. So, if you want
to listen to some calm, or kinda melancholic songs, check out Taylor
Swift. Oh, and a quote I loved: "So, basically this is a song that I
wrote about a guy who cheated on me and shouldn't have because I write
songs." that was hilarious. Reminds me of some of my songwriting. |
